Providing stability for our existing Oracle BIEE platform, handling a small volume of changes, day-to-day user inquiries, troubleshooting, and bug fixes with Informatica ETL and back-end Oracle Data Warehouse.
Working according to the priorities set by the BI Product Manager.
Collaborating with the BI Architect and Senior Data Engineers (BI) to produce designs that follow the CRUK architecture models and agreed design patterns.
Developing new and enhanced solutions in line with IT strategy whilst also identifying opportunities for increased stability and efficiency improvements.
Producing deliverables within agreed timelines and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
Working with Quality Assurance to ensure test plans and test cases are targeted effectively, and providing iterative builds for testing against prioritised requirements.
Collaborating with DBAs to plan releases from Test to UAT and Production.
Providing support for BI production services.
Requirements :
Ability to develop and support Oracle BIEE and related technologies
Practical experience in integration ETL/ELT concepts, patterns, and ability to debug solutions.
Practical experience in BI database design and Kimball data warehousing methodologies.
Some experience with scripting languages, e.g. C#, Python.
Ability to operate within Agile or Waterfall project delivery methodologies
Able to communicate effectively at all levels across the organisation.
